FAMILY SPONSORSHIP

One of Canada's main objectives is family reunification enabling adult citizens or permanent residents to sponsor a member of the family class for immigration to Canada.

To be eligible, the person seeking sponsorship must be a:

  • Spouse, common-law or conjugal partner;
  • Dependent child;
