Angie Cruz

Angie Cruz is the Administrative Assistant of AKM Law. She achieved a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Colombia. Her main duties are to support the lawyers and clients to maintain peace and order in their client matters and trust accounts. Angie’s strength, which generates an additional value to AKM Law, is her native Spanish language and her strong organizational skills.

During her bachelors’, Angie worked in administrative and financial roles. One of the biggest challenges was working in a penitentiary. However, she remembers this experience as one of her favourites. She helped and supported vulnerable population groups and their families.

Organized, disciplined, and a self-starter are the main characteristics she likes to be described as. In her free time, she likes to visit new places, try new food and make new friends. Angie recently moved to Canada to complete a Graduate Certificate program at Centennial College. She recognizes the importance of new immigrants in Canada, the needs they have along the way to migrate and become part of this country, and what it means to have a trusted lawyer during their process.
